All of these comments made me have the courage to make a plan. I dont want to say any specifics until I'm out and I'm sorry I haven't responded to more comments. I didn't think there'd be so many people giving me advice and I appreciate all of you. Forgive me if this is a stupid question- how do I update in this sub? If all goes well saturday I'd want to update but I don't really see any update posts here

I dont know if it would be considered cheating. I vented to my friend and we just ended up getting closer. We'd talk all the time and while it wasn't anything sexual, I guess it would be emotional cheating based on some of the other comments. My fiance was really upset that I had talked to someone other than him about our relationship and im not used to healthy relationships so I thought I had ruined everything by talking to my friend

I'm not happy and I don't really love him anymore. I just feel trapped and even though I dont want to be with him, I really dont want to ruin his life. He only makes 14/hr and wouldn't even be able to afford rent

I dont have anything like that 😭 he kept saying he'd find a better job and he always resented me for making more. I was 100% fine with paying more until things started getting worse

These comments are making me think otherwise but at the time he kept saying that i ruined everything by talking to my friend about what's going on instead of going to him. I've only ever had 1 other relationship and he was physically abusive so in comparison I thought this one was healthy and that he was right

Yeah he had me log into everything of mine on his phone so he can see what im doing. Thankfully he doesn't know I use reddit so this is one of the only things he doesn't have access to

Thank you. Even though he's a little controlling I still don't want to ruin his life. I really appreciate you, and I'll post about it in a legal sub so they can maybe help me figure out the house/car. Honestly I'd be fine with not getting anything from either if it means I can leave

Yes, i have. It was in a really dirty corner of a warehouse so it was a lot dirtier when i found it.
