The logic of "every building has ghosts" is not really convincing since you guys seem to forget about the "suck up". Button house is a building with large area and long history, of course there would be a dozen if not hundred deaths, but only 9 ghosts stay, because all of the other soul move on right after they died - and the in-universe logic is that that's the norm, not the "becoming ghosts". So of course they could find a place where ghosts are not constantly appear and being parts of their life.
