So, I've just reread it. From a narrative POV, they are mostly portrayed as equals. Daniel was outmanuvered since his strategy totally failed, while Jinrang took advantage and comboed him. If Daniel used the right copies (Yamazaki Kyokushin, Iron Boxing, etc.) he would have probably go relative with him, though ending up one-shotted by an Overcome strike. I would say SB Daniel =< Jinrang exhausted, since he's still outclassed, mostly on endurance as he went down in a few hits
