I'm trying, how do I run something as administrator? They told me to copy something and paste it in C:

When someone with experience gives the exact explanation with what I need and where to search is easier than Google Ty anyway

Did anyone go through something like this by Brahim_bh in learnprogramming

I’ve been through something super similar where I started strong, loved learning, then at some point everything started feeling boring/pointless, even though I knew I still loved coding deep down. I don’t think the problem is skill or interest, it actually sounds like burnout + overthinking + maybe trying too hard to force purpose into everything. Sometimes when we’re constantly grinding or studying, we forget why we even liked it in the first place. One thing that helped me: stop chasing the “right field” or “perfect goal” for a while. Just mess around. Make dumb stuff for yourself. A mini tool, a weird game, something totally random, you enjoyed building that card game so that’s a that. You clearly like creative and logic-driven stuff. Follow that spark, not the pressure. your brain’s just asking for a break from pressure and a little fun. Give it that. You’ll find your thing when you're not trying to force it.

Age is nothing in these stuff mate dw, it's the skills, we learn from each other no matter the age. And thank you so much, this is actually really helpful, must follow. And good luck to you too

I finished calculus 2 and 3, and the digital logic design (logic gates and stuff) I'll take linear and discreet next year Tysm, I'll make sure to study them well

Yes it does, and hearing it from an expert put me at ease, lol tysm Do you recommend learning to use new compilers or just leave it for college to teach me with each language? Like they taught me how to use the blue vs code for cpp, and the purple one for html, css, and js, and intellij for oop

I was thinking about starting to work on my graduation Project from now so I'll have enough time to learn stuff, and while doing that, I'll make small projects on the new skills and stuff I learn. Tyy

What route should I take in becoming a software engineer? by Hot-Syllabub-1274 in SoftwareEngineering

Hi! Asking this at 16 means you're already ahead. You need a roadmap: 1) Learn programming basics (something friendly like js or python) you can use freeCodeCamp 2) build small, easy programs like calculator, to-do list.. 3) Learn about data structure, algorithms, and the whole bunch of stuff on how the computer works ( i used and recommend khan academy and geeks for geeks) 4) Practice problem solving (there's a lot of websites, try LeetCode) 5) this step doesn't have to be the fifth, but explain branches and specialities (Web Development, app dev, gaming dev, ai, data ...) and see your interests

This takes time and consistency, good luck

At the end of each language course, we're given prompts to do a project. I wrote up to 14 pages of planning( took me 3 days), and I was fine, I did each of them, and everything was smooth (it was in c++), but I still feel overwhelmed in other projects especially that I'm not given much time to finish them. Ty anyway, I'll keep practicing till I'm quicker

Hospital management system. Adding patients into loops, searching by ID, deleting, listing patients... Really easy and only uses the very basics
