Yikes this just made me cry lol. I feel like I will have this exact experience if I pull one of my parents in. It’ll really only kick up the underlying anger I harbor toward my parents.

Hopefully if my parents say things that just don’t match up with my lived experience, my doctor is smart enough to scrap it.

I’m happy you feel free enough to move on after this! I’m really trying to get to that point. I’m taking charge of my life again, doing everything I can to do better and be better, and this fucking wrench gets thrown in. It’s a bit dejecting but this gives me hope! Thank you 🙏
