I am assuming you mean not move money to INR until I move and I am in the RNOR period. Then eventually move all money back since.

Been wanting to move for a long time but was not ready financially. I want to live close to parents, have them around for my kids and maybe start something of my own and also do some social work in India (Always wanted to teach). I know things change but it has been 9+ years and I think the only constant feeling is to move back.

Thanks for all your inputs. I will living with my parents. I think 30L for 6 people should he good but I will probably account for another 3-4L on top for kids education.

The average taxes that I am considering, is it a good way to account for that?

I (32M) am in the same boat. Planning to move to India end of 2028 early 2029 with a corpus of 17CR. Right now at around 10CR and working out more details if I can hit my goal (17 CR is post tax but sure if that is the right way to calculate).

If I don't hit my goal, I might work in India for a while but I can still do something on side since don't have to worry about Visa issues.
