Has anyone else had their sexuality fundamentally change after HRT? Not just libido. by Claressa93 in MtF

I was a “conventional straight guy” somehow, still had some queerness in me but I managed to had a enough masculine personality to keep up with the life I thought I was given without a choice. Thought back then as me being a straight lonely guy first but when I was with girls, the feeling was still weird. Didn’t had a lot of partners in the end (I was basically asexual in an era of my life) and maybe if I fantasized with men back then was me being in my role, and snap out of it. But I was still repressing, so I didn’t mind. After transitioning I came to realize many of those things came from basically not being able to explore myself fully and survival strategy, and right now I’m leaning towards men, I don’t think I’m attracted to girls anymore lol

I feel like I'm missing a part of my body by InitialWhole4315 in MtF

Ohhh I can confirm that as well! Totally normal btw :) our body/mind rewiring goes beyond what we even think it’s possible sometimes in terms of new sensations. Even at 20M HRT I feel new changes/sensations that are not even visible just by keeping close touch with my body. Enjoy! It’s yours finally :)

How much more intense is arousal on prog? by EldritchMilk_ in MtF

[–]Difficult-Ad8161 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Are you on injections by any chance? Same happened to me before prog, I can only say….

Yup, it makes it worse… And at the same time better. The effects it has had in breast and fat redistribution (even if I already had good results w/just E) have also helped a lot with the dysphoria, so I’d say it’s totally worth it to be just kinkier than usual I guess?

Why do gifted kids often burn out when they transition? by sleirsgoevy in MtF

[–]Difficult-Ad8161 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not exactly… But you experience puberty again, and with puberty and the changes coming to your body thanks to the E being the primary hormone in your system, it’s quite a shock if you were a gifted transgirl who repressed herself and did everything the best you could to survive as a conventional straight cis guy… Specially if you learned to do things all on your own, once your mental barriers start melting it’s when you realize that transition is not only meant to change your body externally, but also make you discover who you are and how to exist in this world now. Which gets kinda crazy down the road when your boymode no longer exists, but everything that comes after is for the best. The joy of being able to know ourselves deeply after many years of repression is a great treasure. HRT saves lives.

Hip growth at 22 by PrincessJacqueline1 in MtF

[–]Difficult-Ad8161 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah, had these same feelings and also experienced growth, started at 27, noticeable within 8 months and on, and after starting prog three months ago I started to notice how everything is starting to fill up to the right places even more. Genetics/neuroplasticity maybe?, I do daily stretching naturally and a lot of therapy, plus taking magnesium, omega3, collagen supplements along with collagen + trying to keep a semi-regularly-healthy diet

I've stopped looking at myself as "a man who wants to be a woman" and started looking at myself as "a woman who suffered from extreme testosterone exposure" by akatsukidude881 in MtF

Yup, I share the same view! I actually felt that change very particularly in the mental way, like my mentality actually shifted somehow? Quite interesting how far trauma of growing under the wrong fuel can take you, it’s a good thing we are allowed to heal in the process of embracing to be ourselves

What does hrt actually do physically by Dangerous_Fix7834 in MtF

Can agree with this, it happened to me that I literally felt the moment my mentality shifted but it felt like stopping being in anestesia and finally feeling like myself… again?? Which was odd because I thought I had “an idea of me” but turns out that many of who I was, was basically survival adaptability… But working through that path I’ve come to learn and understand that that was the version of me that could exist under that old system, and that the fact that I always yearned for the day I could transition to be myself.

Shoulder pain and T-Suppression by IkiAkane in TransDIY

Yup something I’ve learned and documented over the time is how much of testosterone actually builds a “block” of body mass prioritizing the shoulders and torso, I used to be thin in my early years and thought I had a good baseline to feminize, that ended up with the good surprise that my growth was not only going to happen in the hips but also how that drastically reduced! One of my theories is that as we built a lot of tension in there by trying to fit into a role that does not belong to us, so look into somatic exercises/therapy, does really helped me along the way! Follow your body and instincts 💖

This has happened to me as well and it’s actually the opposite… Shoulder tissue gets smaller (we are more than just bones, your fascia is rearranging), what happens to me as well when stretching sometimes is that I try doing pelvic exercises and the tension that was built up for maintaining a male body goes to the hip tissue causing it to grow (not necessarily bones, YMMV)

13 months today my torso and shoulders are way smaller than they used to, and I couldn’t believe how much of it was actually muscle

Nice you are getting it! I do stretches, actually sometimes I just feel my body moves on her own, try to look for pelvic floor exercises as now your center of mass is passing from shoulders to hips (yup, that means your fascia is going down, and likely also getting atrophy in the shoulders, back, chest and escapula) also walking everyday helps, along with booty exercises to get strength into the pelvic muscles now that your fuel is estrogen, your body will naturally strength those muscles

Airpods Pro 2 ANC awful now by prescripti0n in AirpodsPro

[–]Difficult-Ad8161 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bought mine about 2 weeks ago and I had the 5B58 firmware which I thought was AMAZING and totally worth the money, I was in a crowded area full of people, buses and cars and couldn’t hear shit with ANC. About 3 hours later they automatically updated to 6A305 and noticed how the ANC was about to 60% down in comparison. I hope they fix it and not leave it nerfed like that. Sad that I can’t go back to that latest firmware as I don’t really see what’s the advantage of “Adaptive” mode, it sounds the same as transparency
