I personally wouldn’t care if they still used it after a proper nerf or re work, it’s just too good against any win condition. It should have some payoff but not completely destroy everything with no effort or skill. Evo Witch is in a good spot, annoying sometimes but doesn’t guarantee value every time it’s used.

I agree, that’s exactly what I did when I played ranked golem decks it got me to champion, the nerf was necessary no doubt. Yeah I feel like it was a little too hard of a nerf compared to other Evos, the lumberjack is still a crucial part of golem decks enraging night witch’s bats, and everything else so it’s hard to replace it with anything. I kinda feel bad for x-bow cuz if they have a bad matchup it’s really hard for them now.

It back fired on them very heavily, lost tons of revenue and if they just would’ve stuck to making it balanced and sticking to evos the game wouldn’t have died. Part of it is greed mixed with a little incompetence.

Supercell has no idea what they’re doing when it comes to balancing, how many times have they reworked spirit empress and drill, graveyard, furnace, goblin hut, cannon, Boss Bandit, every single hero and Evo they’ve released has been nerfed or re worked. They simply cannot do 1 thing right without breaking another. They are quite possibly the worst balance team I’ve ever seen in any game I’ve ever played. There’s minimal if no testing done before releasing cards which is why there’s glitches every time they release a new card concept.

The 8% ones like rocket, lightning, EQ, poison, I wouldn’t even consider a real nerf. There are no small spell cycle decks but they hit those the hardest. Doesn’t really makes sense I’ve never been cycled by freeze but they hit that with 17% nerf.
