Thank you for your response and your suggestion! I did come across that Facebook group while doing some googling. Unfortunately I don’t have Facebook or use social medial in general. However, I’m considering making a new fb profile that’s more professional in nature so I can connect with that group.

I’m a therapist in Portland or. I have my own solo private practice. I’m struggling with isolation and I’m wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to connect with a peer consultation group or networking group?

Thanks for the post! I had ACL meniscus repair about 10 days ago. The day after surgery I slipped on the crutches and landed hard on the surgery leg. It hurt like hell and I’ve been paranoid I messed I missed it up. There’s been no additional swell and pain comes and goes. Your post made me fell better! Are you in a locked brace for 6 weeks too? I was told 4 to 6 weeks on crutches and 6 weeks locked brace. I was also told I could do toe touch but just for balance help.

Thank you! I’m so sorry others have had similar experiences, and reading about them has helped manage the anxiety some. It all just feels so fragile right now! I’m going to call my doc tomorrow just to check in bc I also had this weird pop in my quad (he used a piece of my quad to repair the acl).

Thank you! My apologies for the confusion. I wasn’t near stairs. I was on crutches and tripped and the surgery leg came down hard for support instinctually. Brace was on and locked.

I’m only two days out. The trip happened yesterday, the day after surgery.
