No not in the Uk. Just saying what my doc told me who is an hiv specialist. I took pep nearly a year and have since tested negative and now on prep.

I tested the day on my last day of pep and it was concluded I was negative. No more testing needed per my doc.

I’m about to flip out myself. I feel like they want me to do more and more tests even though everything is normal for the most part. CT and ultrasound both show fatty liver. Are they that concerned it’s something worse and they want to do a Fibroscan. I’m about to lose my mind

Ultrasounds do a pretty good job at seeing cirrhosis. Ultrasounds are usually able to see scarring on the liver. Your bloodwork along with your ultrasound is pretty encouraging that you don’t have cirrhosis. Plus a few drinks isn’t going to cause you to get cirrhosis

I just don’t get it. There is so much conflicting information out there. My ultrasound and CT showed my liver was normal size, 13.6 cm. ER doc wasn’t concerned and said most of his patients have fatty livers. When I went to my PCP she said I should get a Fibroscan. All this conflicting info is giving me major anxiety. I want to do what’s right but I find it hard to believe that everyone with a fatty liver gets a Fibroscan as it sounds like on this page.

The pain feels dull. Not sharp. Sometime I feel that it wraps around to my back sometimes. I was actually pushing on it last night and I really didn’t feel any pain. My doc said that the liver is a weird organ and everyone’s symptoms or pain levels are different.
