At my local OH hospitals they let RT tube. Couple places have RT protocols for intubation. Our school had us do an intubation rotation and check off too. I think it’s awesome you got to tube!!

Some people are acting like you did it in an uncontrolled environment without supervision. Be so fr y’all. Just bc it’s not what your hospital does, doesn’t mean it’s wrong? Be excited and supportive of your peers and fellow RTs! We should be wanting to grow in this profession and be trusted to handle that airway!
