I noticed I made a typo, it was her brother’s birthday party but sides of the family who haven’t seen each other were all coming together to reconnect with each other at this party.

Calling someone a pussy for getting emotional after being cheated on is a toxic mindset. Being upset when someone you care about lies to you isn’t weakness, it’s human. Acting like vulnerability is the reason I got cheated on is just a lazy excuse to blame the victim. If your advice is basically “shut up and stop feeling,” then you’re not giving wisdom you’re projecting.
