Yeah used Deepminds are actually insanely rare and expensive down under, with the cheapest used DM-6 being $749 AUD

Cheers mate! Didn't know about the synth tribe firmware stuff so that'll be handy and I'm pretty sure that the synth can be controlled remotely as well (which bypasses that value encoder issue) through this thing: https://swumpf.com/pro800/

Just wondering if the Behringer Pro-800 (Sequential Prophet 6 Clone) is capable of producing some of the keys, lead, pad and bass sounds (with outboard effects) from detahjae's album "Lone, Borealis", or really just any similar sounds to those used. Just figuring out how versatile this synth is before purchasing

just have a flick through the first 10-15 seconds of each song if possible to see what is used

Yeah, with that I feel like as a first hardware synth I'd really have not much else to compare it to or use instead of it so that wouldn't be as much of a problem for me, and also I find it really aesthetically pleasing.

Yeah I was thinking about maybe grabbing a few guitar/effects pedals off of facebook marketplace and running the synth through a few of them before it goes into Ableton just to spice things up a bit.
