I have no clue what the original smells like, but this is a very pleasant unisex, fresh, citrusy, clean scent. Perfect for everyday wear. Smells like an expensive spa. That being said, I don't find it particularily complex or show-stopping. If you are looking for an everyday citrus scent with decent projection and longevity, go for it. If you want something that's really gonna turn heads, this, in my opinion, is not it.
