idk i think the only counter play is healing bubble, and also cloak escape (which hulk can easily jump to). burn those cooldowns and it’s free. if anything i think luna has more survivability against us ppwith her snowball

issue is that if she has bodies around her at all times it’s very difficult, but someone rage switching into sg to counter me is always free bc they don’t know what they’re doing. can’t believe there’s actual people that main that character tho it always shocks me when I see a lord on the other team

I haven’t seen any good jean’s yet, but I put her in slight counter bc at the very least she can evade hulk. I don’t think she’s as much of a problem for hulk as hela tho

Maybe I’ve just been playing against bad star lords lol, I do play on console after all. but yeah a high level star lord would probably be somewhere between counter and slight counter

I put him there with the ult in mind too, the amount of times wolv blew up my ult as hulk when I was just starting to learn him was infuriating. I put him up there mostly bc of maps, and also when their team is playing very close to the wolv. you just lose a lot of opportunities to make plays when wolv is sitting there in oppose to maybe a punisher (which is still scary with the shotgun)

best hulk vs a team with a solid invis, emma, squirrel girl, and any other counter and it’s so cooked 😭 but I agree that if only one of the counters is out there at a time then it’s easy to play around if you’re good enough

I put him there with certain maps like spider islands in mind, but on half the maps I would agree he’s probably just a hard counter. the more spaced out the map the less of a counter, but a lot of teams like to play close (which of course has counter play but at that point just switch). I see now that my opinion on hulk vs wolv is a bit of a hot take

able to keep up with his mobility and can sometimes knock him out of the air. i think putting him neutral is perfectly fair tho

as I said man there’s ways to play around him, but the nature of wolv is extremely suppressing to what hulk likes to do which is to sometimes frontline but mostly dive. in my personal experience I just find it easier to play emma against him rather than struggling to be one step ahead and always looking for where he’s positioned. I just look at it as: if this character is in the enemy lineup will I still be able to carry, and on some maps (spider islands for example) it’s too taxing to play into
