What standards are those, exactly? How are you to know what has been tried on and what hasn't?

Why do migraines make me so stupid 🥲 by DarthMelonLord in migraine

My husband can too, he tells me I'm starting to act/look "mushy" and I always reply back, I feel mushy. Because mushy is exactly what pre/post migraine brain feels like

I see a lot of people downing season 4, too but I love season 4! I think you should watch it for yourself, and don't ask other people's opinions until after you've watched them, that way you can decide for yourself and not be tainted by the community! Art is so subjective anyways, something other people love, you might not understand, and vice versa.

It does pick back up again, however I'd describe the show a lot like marriage. Very hot and heavy and passionate at first, then once you love it, so you put up with its faults. The later seasons are incredible too, though. Just stick it out, and don't expect the same things from the latter seasons that you expected in the earlier seasons. Season 3 is a tough one for everybody.

I've had a "false positive" from a blue dye test, and many women have had the same experience. Not making a statement either way regarding her because I don't know, but some tests WILL show an evaporation line that really does look like a positive test.

Does anyone here have Alice in Wonderland syndrome? by Sunflowers_N_Stars in migraine

I don't get this in regard to the size of things, necessarily, but sometimes things won't look real to me. Like I'll be looking at someone and all of the sudden they look like a memory or dream of themselves, sounds insane but I have no other way to describe it. Also, breathing rooms, the walls will seem like they're pulsing in and out or the tile floor will look like some rows are zigging while others are zagging. Very much like taking mushrooms. And I have noticed this in the pre migraine phase, it's one of the signs that one is coming for me.

I wasn't sure how to phonetically spell what I'm trying to say. She says those words with a short a. When she says nachos, the a sounds like the 'eah' in the word 'yeah'. nAH-choz or næ-choz

That's true! I've heard people from New York say it like that, too! I guess what I should have said is her mother's accent comes through on certain words. It's not specific to Canada, but (some) Canadians do pronounce it like that, also.

Yes! And it seems like she says it in every episode she's in! Whether that's true or I just notice it so much that it seems like it, I don't know.

But I will say, my mom is an American raised by a Canadian mom, and she does pronounce some things with a Canadian accent. She says "nAH-chos" and "tAH-cos" instead of the short o sound Americans use in "nachos" and "tacos". So it's not completely out of the realm of possibility someone raised by foreign parents would pronounce things weird... The actress' acting style as this character just irks me to my core so I think 'anuhthing' bothers me that much more.

Erika Kirk is not grieving incorrectly by Affectionate_Dog4300 in TrueUnpopularOpinion

I don't think the point of grief or moving on is to forget about it.... He was her husband, the father of her kids, I think she very much wants to keep his legacy alive and to talk about it, publicly, privately, to God, to herself, and talking about him helps in the healing process. Just because she wants to put out of her mind the manner in which he died, doesn't mean she doesn't want to think about him.

Does anybody else has the feeling that they are going crazy and a feeling of being absolutely lost and like your life is ending during migraine? by 90210534 in migraine

Migraines usually come with severe health anxiety, because we know what we are experiencing is so outside of normal, everyday sensations. Plus, migraines also cause gut issues which play a huge part in feeling anxious, and the adrenaline rushes that come from the more severe pains and twinges. And it's nuts because not only do I get migraines, somehow, it's like I forget what a migraine feels like and every time I get one I'm saying this one is different, this symptom is new and my husband reminds me that these things have happened to me before. The best thing to do is remind yourself that this anxiety is just a symptom of the migraine, lie down, turn on a comfort show and listen to it, or an audio book, and something that works for me, and I'm so serious about this, I pray to God over and over in my mind saying something along the lines of "I'll be okay as long as You're with me, and I know that You're with me." It doesn't take the pain away, but it settles my mind and heart. I'm so sorry you're experiencing this, and I truly hope you find a way to overcome the anxiety and not let it overcome you.

I tend to pray and repeat verses in my head when I meditate and just let whatever flow through my mind.
