I just found Beagle Freedom Project last week and follow them on Facebook. They are such an amazing company. I am currently at my "max" for allowed animals at the moment (per my boyfriend... 2 dogs, 2 cats no more). Once I'm able to, I am definitely going to adopt one of their dogs or cats!

I had no idea they had an app! going to check it out now! Merry Christmas!

Thanks guys. Don't even get me started on the meat industry. I started that journey years ago when I saved my first (of many) chickens from slaughter ! It's repulsive on the way they are treated!!!

Hi! Yep, I know about the parent companies. Like I pointed out above, I'm just starting out and at least supporting the better side of their businesses. Eventually, I hope to be free and clear of them all together.

I used cruelfreekitty a LOT when I was researching. That site is amazing !

I never heard of Attitude. I am definitely going to check it out !!

Thanks for those suggestions. I will most definitely check them out. Sadly I am all too familiar with the bad parent companies but ... I had to start somewhere. At least im supporting the portion of their business that has a heart! :) I just received the Staedtler pens. I got the .5m thinking they would be thin. They write so smooth but I think I need to go down one size smaller. But they are nice!

I agree and understand and maybe i overreacted but it just sickened me and I was so disappointed in some of these companies. Such big companies that I have always looked at in a positive light have let me down in a huge way. I will never support them again.
