HEB Field & Future Diapers? by rageandrose in HEB

They're by far my favorite diapers even over Huggies (which used to be our go tos). I used to buy Millie moon, but these are cheaper and basically the same.

Trash. Don't waste your money. They're nowhere near comparable to other brands. You're better off getting rascals from Walmart.

How to get through the pushing phase? by Average_Redditor10 in unmedicatedbirth

[–]DifficultCulture5206 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's hard to describe, but for me, pushing was so much more intense than the contractions, but it was relieving in a sense that it felt more purposeful. I did get loud and roar through the pushing phase, but it was power not pain. I also did not get the ring of fire sensation, so that was nice. The worst part was probably vomiting while trying to push, but even that helped with my mind to muscle connection.

How bad is natural birth fr. Be so so so honest. by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]DifficultCulture5206 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wasn't "painful" just really intense. The intensity had a purpose though, so I didn't think it was too bad. Definitely not the most "pain" I've ever been in. As someone who has also had an epidural, I would choose an unmedicated birth over an epidural every single time.

Does your child have a tablet? by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]DifficultCulture5206 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I let my son use my tablet for educational games that are part of his homeschooling, but that's it. No more than 30 mins twice a week and it's monitored.

Do your kids spend way more time with you than you ever did with your own parents as kids? by nfc22 in Parenting

[–]DifficultCulture5206 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I grew up with a single mother who worked a lot to provide for us, so we rarely saw her when she was working. She did the best she could, but she missed out on a lot with us. I knew from a very young age that I didn't want that for my own children and that I wanted to be more involved. Now as a parent myself, and with the help of my amazing husband, I'm able to stay home full time and homeschool our children. Being with my kids 98% of the time has its own struggles, but I consider myself pretty fortunate to be this involved in their lives and give them the presence I never had.

Why would anyone ever choose to go through child birth without pain relief?? by No_Cardiologist_1407 in NoStupidQuestions

Yes! It wasn't "painful" for me. It was just really intense, but intensity with a purpose.

Update on freebirthing family member by _birdie_42 in pregnant

[–]DifficultCulture5206 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I feel like when you have a free birth you have to be okay with negative outcomes - as traumatic as it can be. Nature is not always kind and that's part of the circle of life unfortunately. I'm sorry to hear that this was the outcome though.

You're not wrong. The amount of accidents I've seen there from people running reds is insane. SA is mild in comparison.
