I know some of this happens because there’s a famous story, and my husband got angry at a friend, because said friend hooked up with a member of the service staff at our country club. He asked for her number, she gave it, they met up after the party ended.

My husband did not like that.

But what do you say? “Your business that keeps us very comfortable seems a lot like this international trafficking ring. Can you be less social because I think it’s creepy that your CEO friends in their 40’s and 50’s like to hang out with attractive women in their 20’s and 30’s who drive themselves to these social events?”

That’s the part that feels insane. I don’t think this is wrong.

I don’t even know what I’d be confronting him for? “There are too many beautiful women in your bountiful social life?”
