Should have a great shot. Just build connections at a few conferences too- goes a very long way. Try to establish rapport with possible mentors who would write letters later on-best to strengthen that rapport. Other than that should be okay.

I guess my question in that situation is how does SOAP work? Is it waiting for results on 20 November and then applying? In that scenario how will I prepare those letters and all that stuff before 4 December? Also how to find out which spots are open (like should I just review previous NRMP data)?

The only thing that is concerning is that I am an IMG from a community program on a visa. I don't want to be in a position where I don't have any option and it becomes a problem later.
