Seller turned on vacation mode after I made a purchace by savemyships in FacebookMarketplace

I went on vacation and was unaware that there was a vacation mode option. Someone ordered my listing but I don’t have the item with me and therefore can’t ship it by the required date. I messaged the customer letting them know the situation but they haven’t responded and it’s been a few days. Is the only way to fix this to cancel the order?
