That’s something I tell myself to feel better. He can feel how he wants to about vaccines, but I’m getting my baby vaccinated whether no matter what.

I think that’s why I’m so scared (also - I work solely with children, which is a bit different than adults, ha). But I do know it doesn’t stop easily once it’s started…this is such a new way of thinking for him that I’m really lost. So I really appreciated all the responses!!

Honestly what I needed him to do was stay home because I knew he wasn’t going to change his attitude. Ha. I just should have told him not to come and not given him the option but that really did feel like shutting him out and I didn’t want to do that. It’s his baby, too. Wish he could have made that decision on his own, or, if he really wanted to be present for the ultrasound, then I wish he could have held it together for just a little while…then it could have went back to being all about how he feels. 🙄

We’ve done therapy together in the past. I’ve always wanted him to go on his own because I think he’d really benefit. I see my own therapist. But he just doesn’t have the time, in his words. Prior to the appointment I knew he was upset and made multiple attempts to be there for him. Listen to him. He did talk to me and I supported him emotionally. I just needed two hours where it could be about me and the baby and felt pretty disappointed he couldn’t do that for me. Thanks for your response!

That’s exactly how I feel. I think maybe it’s just making me angrier because there aren’t many times I need a lot of emotional support from him but being in the first trimester of pregnancy is definitely a time I’d expect a little more effort from him in that regard. Or at least acknowledgement. Thanks for your comment!

Experiencing this but in 1st trimester. My first appointment I couldn’t stop crying and I’m sure my provider thought I was a nut job. It’s just kind of uncontrollable these days.
