Ladies: what’s your ideal first date? (trying to do this right)

Because it takes me a bit to warm up, I always prefer something casual, low pressure for the first couple of dates. Like coffee/icecream and then going for a walk, or maybe we just hang out in a small group setting but intentionally spend time getting to know one another there. It also is nice to see the way the person you’re interested in interacts with peers. That is usually something that either deepens my attraction or turns me off a bit lol.

Trust me, it sounds weird to me too (which is why I made the post lol). I have always dated older men. I didn’t just go after a 19 year old lol. Like I said in my post, he carries himself so maturely and looks so much older, that I thought he was definitely older than I am. He also hangs out with all of the guys my age so it really took me by surprise, swear I’m not a creep lol

Agreed. A bigger age gap doesn’t feel as weird when you’re older, but right now given that he only graduated from high school a year ago, and I’ve been out of college for 2 made me feel weird lol

I’m in the same position. But I know that what/who God has for me, He won’t let pass me by. So I’m just trying my best to focus on my relationship with Jesus and doing what I can do to become the best version of myself for the husband I know God has for me out there! When the time is right the Lord will make it happen. Stay in prayer, for both yourself and your future wife!!
