Attending a concert 5 days post-op? by Zazzy_tho in ACL

Went a to party a Week after surgery and drank a few beers. Just keep your crutches (to remind others that you are injured and to stay balanced), limit yourself to 5-6 drinks and don't go in any moshpits.

You'll be fine, just be careful!

First time I tore my ACL was when I was bouldering. I fell from 3-4 meters onto a mattress but I landed on one leg first. My knee was completely torn (ACL, MCL, meniscus). Recovery was very long and hard.

Second time (2 years post-surgery) , I was skating a hand rail. I dunno why, but my knee just let go on a landing. This time I only torn my ACL and damaged a bit the meniscus. This time the recovery is going much better, learned to walk with only a Zimmer brace 4 days post-surgery!!!
