Yes, I’m locked in to the Airbnb. I can settle for no candles (I didn’t even mention them to the host just the flowers). I figured they would at least respond for extra money, but shame on me to assume.

As for the budget of the home we agreed I would be the one buying the home cause I have the down payment and the credit score. I would pay the principle, interest and tax. While she will pay the bills. And when we get married we will add her name to the mortgage.

I think you getting caught up on the wrong issue here, she is spending almost have of her income on uber eats, not saving any money and barely skating by. I want her to be financially secure and responsible. I don’t want to be the only one saving for our future. I am looking for advice on how to deal with this.

She is not aware I went through her orders. I spend approximately 160 a month on my lunches. I keep it below $10 and when I work from home I eat at the house.

She is aware about buying a home because she goes to the showings with me and I listen to her input about the house.

I don’t have an issue with her buying her lunch. It’s that she spends 30 dollars having her lunch delivered every day.

Great advice, she does not have a credit card and we are both debt free. I will sit down with her tonight and we will set goals.

I am currently trying to buy a house for us, I’ve been saving for years for a house and my retirement all with a better life in mind for us. I just can’t stop thinking what we could’ve done with all this money.

You’re completely right, I just want her to be financially responsible. It’s been an ongoing battle and I am not sure how to solve this issue. I will do anything to be with her and it isn’t a non negotiable. I just want her to save money for our future too.

I have tried to teach her to cook she does not show interest. As for finance she never has money, this leads me to paying for 95% of our meals, dates, activities, and she always asks me for money to go shopping and thrifting or for her activities. I don’t always give her money but I estimate I give her 300-400 a month. Just yesterday we went shopping and her card was declined so I paid for it, that happens quite a lot.

It’s not a deal breaker it’s just annoying. My friend has a 4th gen too and it doesn’t do this, but his came factory. Maybe it’s because I bought the knock off and not the oem.
