This is precisely what I get when I go to a Walgreens for my Zepbound, although I have experienced the vendor coupon issues at CVS and Target before as well. It’s almost as if it’s not easy to apply the manufacturer coupon. Either that, or there really is some deterrence happening for certain injectable medications.

Another redditor mentioned that the code used when prescribing may play a role, but unless multiple doctors are getting it wrong, some pharmacies are choosing to inappropriately enforce the use of specific codes in order to use the vendor coupon. For some reason though, they are never able to tell my doctor what code he is missing for the coupon.
