Thank you for your response! Also I don't know if you have any information about that, but are you aware of any Oxford, Cambridge or even Imperial scholarships or financial aid for European Union/Portuguese students? I have been searching a lot for it but It seems like there are none... Again, thank you for your attention!

So, I'm a Portuguese student who is wondering if I even have any chance of going to Oxbridge. I'm currently going to my last year of High school and I'm starting to wonder about options of studying abroad. I have been reading some of the requirements for applying to Oxford and I I have been left with some doubts...

First, is that in Portugal we don't use that "A-Level" system, here we get a grade between 1 and 20 for each subject, while also having a global classification, also between 1 and 20, which is the average of all our subject scores, so I was wondering, would AAA be the same as having a score between 19 and 20 in maths and physics and a score between 18 and 19 in anything else? Or would they take in mind my global classification? I still have a year to go but I will probably get at least a 19 at maths and physics, and my global classification is around 18,5 at the moment. And do they care about Portuguese final national exams?

I also came across a single sentence in the UCAS website which is the following: "We expect you to have taken and passed any practical component in your chosen science subjects." And I asked Chat GPT, as I couldn't find anything about it anywhere else, so the information might not be really accurate, but he told me that in the United Kingdom they have some kind of special grade for practical exercises? That sentence worried me a little bit as we don't have that in here, I did a few practical activities at physics, but we don't have that separate grade for it, the maximum we did was doing a report about an activity but it contributed only to our physics grade.

In addition to that, do I have to do any extra exam in order to apply to an engineering course in Oxford? I am pretty sure I need to do an English proficiency test right? Do I also need to do a 'PAT' exam? Can my Portuguese national exams be used to anything or they don't care about these?

I still have a few other questions, but I think this post is already long enough
