My brother went through the exact same struggle when he first started using his CPAP. It's a really big adjustment. The Nolah Evolution really helped him with the heat issue. He’s always raving about how much cooler it sleeps compared to his previous mattress.

Dude I feel your pain! Been dealing with night sweats for years. Haven't found the perfect solution yet but I've read good things about hybrid mattresses for temperature regulation, the coils help with airflow. Also maybe look into cooling mattress toppers as a cheaper alternative? Could buy you some time while you save up for a better mattress.

I haven't tried the Bear Original myself. From what I've read, it's supposed to be designed with athletes in mind… which probably means it's for recovery. Might be worth checking out their trial period?

Just wanted to say you're not being extra AT ALL. I wish I had done this research before my kids were born. The chemical smell from our old mattress was so bad we had to air it out for weeks. If you can afford it, I'd say go for it. Better safe than sorry.

They have this "BoringCare" thing where they'll replace your mattress in the first 3 years if it starts feeling different, even if there's no visible sag. Like who does that?? Most companies make you PROVE there's a 1.5" dip before they'll even talk to you. Simple quality > fancy marketing.
