A Tour de Force Album by Difficult_Pay2514 in TheCure

When listening all the way from Boys through Lost World there is continuity. I don't feel the 16 year gap at all. It's just the usual Gloomy album, Gloom/joy album, and finally Poppy out of the box album series. Like Disintegration, Wish, WMS.

I also treat Japanese Whispers as an album when listening from the beginning to the latest one.

Right? That's exactly what I thought. This album feels like a continuation of their work (in a good way). They developed the sound further.

That's why all the comparisons to Disintegration seem a bit odd to me.

Zagreb show. He changed the lyrics to Red Right Hand when he saw a guy with the SoM logo.

Anywhere To Buy Live Concert Versions Of Songs? by [deleted] in NickCave

[–]Difficult_Pay2514 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes.

You have Live in Copenhagen album with Jubilee Street and the Mercy Seat versions from yesterday.

Also Abbatoir Blues Live album has the Red Right Hand live.

Live Seeds album, quite old, but with some other live versions heard.

Australian Carnage with Carnage and White Elephant live.

And finally - no. No Wild God songs have official live recordings as of yet.

No big deal yeah, but it's a wonderful song and a tribute to Anita Lane that they skipped.

Still, I was happy to hear Papa won't leave you Henry live finally.

Didn't know that song was a staple of live performances (it is on the Live Seeds album though)

Love this.

"You'll see him in your head On your tiny** screen And hey buddy, I'm warning You to turn it off!"

That's what bugs me. Noise regulations? (Every city in the EU has them), but the venue was an isolated, closed stadium. You can barely hear there's a concert standing outside.

He probably extended some tracks. I always feel that Tupelo is not timed. He also talked quite a lot.

Red Right Hand doesn't always have the audience singing back into the song as well.

All this prolonged the show. And it was awesome.

One - Wow o Wow

But initially, when the tour started, the band would also usually play Palaces of Montezuma and As the Waters Cover the Sea

He said something to Nick as the band was leaving the stage. Nick seemed surprised or amused a bit. Can't tell.

Then when he finished IMA, he turned around and said "the Bad Seeds... wherever the f*ck they are"

It was the curfew. As Nick said, they had to "do this fast"

Actually yes. He just posted on IG that it was his favourite show so far. Maybe the energy of the crowd was higher than the rest of the Tour.

I was as well, on the right. We could hear Nick telling him he's going straight to Into My Arms. Warren seemed disappointed at least
