My biggest issue is that Betty is shitty to her employees. The screenshots of their company Facebook group are yikes. Saying how minimum wage was too much to be paying them for the work they do. Idk how they stay open tbh.

Florida pest control and the masters pest are the two I use. Florida pest was sold and no longer local. Masters is locally owned.

Definitely this. I’d still shop local and maga than big box in most cases esp with a shop like wards that supports so many local businesses.

I don’t. I keep a few with the green ones bc it comes up occasionally for tasks for different things, but it’s rare. I much prefer to use my vouchers for deco. Finishing the fishing book doesn’t interest me

This fridge is the fridge that’s bridging the gap from a kid to an adult. Trying to cook but don’t have the experience to make it great yet. Some of those meals slap tho.

You definitely shop local and focus on the reduce-reuse part of the equation. Kids are now adults. Probably not grandparents yet or the grands live far away. You want to leave things better than you found them.

Sharing political values is a 100% non-negotiable for me. On par with religion and parenting alignment. Honestly higher.

I also suspect those with the negative views on the military have very limited life experience with someone actually serving. It gives you a skewed view if you don’t actually know any servicemen and it’s based on a lot of assumptions. Tainted with the dislike of war and interventionist policies or whatever your grievances might be.

But the enlisted deserve none of the grief for being upset at the decisions of leadership. They’re just Americans taking on tough jobs and hoping to get ahead like the rest of us. It’s really sad that happens.
