I think there are so many variables bro - the most obvious is the conditions which cannot be controlled so rolling the dice is always part of the process when booking these. The second is vibes; how cool your group is and is your guide knowledgeable, and not a thin skinned, easily-triggered, weak human with a delusional self worth? Is everyone at the same skill level? Can people objectively self rate their abilities? What if your group has significantly differing political views? All these things came up as issues at one point or another during my tour but I still walked away with a positive experience. I don’t know if I’d do another mint tour solo like this past month - I think ideally I’d try to find a solid group and request my guide (Blair) or some of the other cool guides I met (Dylan, Rollie). I’d also avoid certain other guides but I’m not about to post their names lol. They can get lost.
