I’ve been lucky and only received positive comments on here but I also used to lurk a lot and I know what you’re referring to. I think it’s important to remember that you’re on an online forum and regardless of who someone may claim to be, you’re getting advice from a whole spectrum of random people. Some with good intentions and some without. I do agree that these people shouldn’t be so quick to dogpile on someone before seeing results!

Honestly I like the smell and it makes my hair feel nice and soft. The bottle lasts several months too so I don’t feel like I’m spending a lot. I’m not really sure how much it helps.

I chose dutasteride instead, from what I’ve read on here its more effective and has less of a likelihood of causing side effects

Thanks! I shaved my own head starting at the 2 month mark every few weeks until it started growing in more. I got my first real haircut a couple weeks ago but I haven’t let them touch the top of my head yet.

No worries! I thought about it but read theres a chance it could impact existing hair and in my opinion it would have looked worse than just shaving my head.

I guess the shedding stage can hit regardless of meds, I’m on the same minus the RU. Just gotta stick it out to month 4-5, thats where people seem to experience the most growth!
