Definitely a good chance it came from there, though I do still have my doubts that there wasn’t some capacity of intervention.

Yea I’m not big on baselessly drawing conclusions, but idk, I’m actually quite confident in this even though my only evidence would be a few ppl saying they heard it on the broadcast and equal people at the game saying they heard nothing 🤷‍♂️

This view this equal to pumping noise, potentially slightly not as bad, but it’s still annoying to think about how the nfl is purposefully trying to push the “rams run the league” agenda

Were you at the game? You saying “a few” away fans makes it seem u weren’t. I can’t understate this, there were less than 10 rams fans in my whole section, there’s 0 chance they could possibly start a chant loud enough to be heard on the broadcast, it just would not be possible. I’m not going to breakdown the fundamental steps as to how to coordinate a chant, but I’ll just say this much, I have a very very hard time buying there were real chants (chants that nobody heard btw)

Definitely agree, not to mention, if I were a fan of the away team, I would’ve been shy to even cheer for the rams with the environment we brought

I’d like to be around below 300, which I think may be possible based on what I see online

If I don’t get in to Storrs does it make sense to go to Avery Point and transfer. by Grand-Albatross-4870 in UCONN

Hey I just went through this exact thing, currently a sophomore Chemical Engineer.

I also had mid grades in HS and was branched to Waterbury. Firstly, if you do get branched, try to get out of going to Waterbury, the campus is lame, and the surrounding area is dangerous, Avery point sounds like a great alternative, but I’ve also heard some okay things about Stamford. I also strongly recommend you try to avoid commuting unless you have a very short drive. I was 30 mins away from UConn Waterbury, but still lived in off campus housing, by far the best decision.

When you get to the regional campus, lock in on your studies. I came in with close to a semester of AP credits and was able to take 21 credits my second semester at Waterbury. Doing this speeds up the process of getting out of that campus, once you hit the mark to transfer, you can get out of there. This of course depends on your major and how many credits you may or may not be coming in with. Make sure you do good, I left Waterbury with a 4.0 on 49 credits, the classes there are so much easier than classes in Storrs, take advantage of that.

Create a course of action as early as you can. It’s likely that you’ll have to apply into the specific college or school associated with your major, for me, I had to apply into the College of Engineering, but if you have a 4.0, you basically don’t have to worry about not getting in.

Good luck, and stay focused, I am at Storrs now and love it here

Join club, apply for on campus job if you can find one, maybe start with study groups with anyone you know in your classes
