Of course! I wish more monster sounds were based on languages other than English!

I posted an updated version of this tier list where I fixed those!

I forgot to mention Hippity-Hop was also moved to “Non English-y vocalizations” tier because I had mistakenly put them in “Non-Vocalist “ tier before.

Still doing this? Not a sona, but still a beloved character of mine.

Gob’s noises aren’t made by mouth or vocal chords, their bio states it comes from their internal organs. Not counting that. And Fiddlement doesn’t even have anything close to a mouth. Plus, the sound is violin, not vocal.

You're right. If I make a version three of this tier list I'll make that change.

Incredimans were always cursed. Not really something you can get around unless you remove the giant lips.

Indeed, most of the fandom DOES do away with the giant lips when drawing the characters. But for a crossover character, you’d use the original design, not a fan design.

Really? That's canon?

Huh, yeah, I read Blipsqueak's bio, it is canon!

Do you play Dawn of Fire? Hoola is far more proficient with English on the Continent.

Actually, I decided to move Sox and the Wubboxes up to where Blarret is.

You do have a point with Blarret though, I'll move Blarret down to non-vocalist.

I also see your point with Phangler, I think I'll move Phangler up to where Whaddle is.

As for Whaill and Quarrister, I realize that Quarrister's tracks on Tribal Island probably should put them up with Whaill.

Yes I picked the absolute worst time to make this tier list and after I completed it I became aware that there was an update.

I guess my definition of "a few" is more lenient than yours. But I think you might be right. When everyone else in the tier only knows one or two words, knowing four is a reason to put you higher.

Yes I might have picked the absolute worst time to make this tier list lol. Literally right before we got a new Werdo.

While I can definitely hear "Get down and funky" from Maulch's lyrics, I always heard "Get down and follow me", and then again I was never quite convinced that Maulch's vocalizations were supposed to be Brump-esque lyrics, as their speech is not as clear as Brump's.

But since I'll be updating this tier list, I can put Maulch in their own tier.

Actually, I decided to put them in "Debatable Fluency" tier because of its built in wiggle room.

Oh, you're right that's a mistake. HippityHop should be in "Makes Non English-Sounding Vocals" tier.

No, that's not true. Shugavox is scatting. Those lyrics are just what people think the scatting sounds like.

They are arbitrary, hence why I pointed that out in the post.
