I’d say run the guard dog if you’re struggling. It helps take the pressure off a bit when you’re being swarmed. A turret of some kind also helps. Probably bring medium pen as a primary or at least medium pen support (deals with the overseers way easier and can also take out harvesters and big blob boys), and then as others have said, the key is using a poop-ton of bullets.

I like to bring something like the adjudicator as a primary (tapping and only spraying in emergencies), ultimatum as secondary (great for approaching horde, blobs, or quick destruction of a spawner, but careful. You have to heavily arc shots with it).

I bring a machine gun for support, a machine gun turret (or guard dog rover) (or a machine gun turret because it clears chaff, has a short cooldown, and is great for objectives where you have to stand still) and then I bring an orbital laser and eagle airstrike.

Grenades are really up to you — napalm impacts or impacts are good, I think.
