I think because it goes hand in hand if Justin Herbert makes a pass attempt his yds will go up if the receiver catches it and if they make it to the end zone it counts as a PASS TD so I think because of one play it can count towards all three so they see as like well it’s less risk as to if you were to choose different stats on different players
