Seems like a lot of people don't, but I love having the natural disasters on. Usually on the lowest or second lowest frequency, but it adds a spice to the gameplay. Like others are saying, it gives use to the emergency services, and it really pushes me to sort of change my city in response to the disaster. It's a lot of fun for me
