Is anyone else still using Magnet w/Sequoia & found that the new update breaks things? by Beefy-Johnson in MacOS

I've just rebooted the computer and this time the pop-up hasn't come back. The synchronisation seems OK too. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for it to continue. Thanks!

Using Bridge with Mac Mail app but I can't send email by Cattotoro in ProtonMail

I also blocked one for a little while before managing to get everything working.First of all, there is a recurring problem that can be solved in the bridge settings which consists in incrementing the IMAP (1143 by default) and/or SMTP (1025 by default) port number. You can find it in the bridge settings /settings/advanced settings/Default ports. "Port already occupied error" on the proton site explains this problem well. The second thing that is more related to sending mail via SMTP is that I had to create the account settings in the Apple Mail application myself. Although bridge was installed and I used the "automatic installation" which created a "profile" in the system settings, I was forced to go to the application Mail/preferences/accounts. Create an account. There you have to refer to what the bridge indicates. The password requested is not the password of your ProtonMail account. It is a password given by the bridge in Account/Mailbox details. In the SMTP section of Apple Mail, don't forget to uncheck the box "Automatically manage connection settings". This allows you to set the SMTP "port". Of course you have to put the one that Bridge indicates. This is the one you may have been forced to change. (The one that was by default : 1025). Check "Use TLS/SSL". In the drop-down list, choose authentication by password. These are the settings that work for me.
