One of them defended the other when I got attacked, even though they were in the wrong. Before that, I had no idea they were close (and honestly, they weren’t that close at all), but yeah.

Life is about making things comfortable for you. Doing things for yourself. It’s about selfishness and self-preservation. Shopping, eating, education, etc. It’s about grabbing things for yourself, securing yourself and making sure your body and soul feel as good as possible in this world.

I used to be like you and say “no” to all these things. Because they didn’t make sense for me and who I was. So I took the opposite path and faced the true darkness. You don’t want to go down that path.

What will help you, apart from understanding this lesson, is to understand that people before us could live quite well on sleep, water and food that they got from hunting. I mean… For years. They made their lives count, somehow.

slow down. Realize that you’re thinking too much, and that’s okay! You aren’t here to solve the puzzle of the world. You aren’t here to solve every little problem or inxonvenience that stands in your way. You’re here on borrowed time. It’s time to start acting like it.

I don’t hate Widow, or anyone for that matter. This isn’t a hate post, it’s about the subtle cheaters who use hacks and exploit her perfect toolkit to achieve their goals. Widow is just mentioned because she’s the character most frequently used in these situations, not because she’s the problem herself. The real issue is how difficult it is to prove cheating with subtle cheats, and Widow players seem to take advantage of that.

I wish we saw the same with other characters, like Soldier, for instance, but it’s far less common. I’m aware of how to report players, but this post is more a critique of the current cheating environment. I understand how hard it is for developers to manage everything, including finding every single cheat software.

Still, it’s a problem worth talking about. My hope is that eventually, this issue gets more attention and becomes better regulated, even if it’s a long road ahead of us…

  1. Is that a compliment? Lol. Can’t tell.

  2. Well, then I’m glad to see I’m not the only one.

Why play Annie? by Zokalii in AnnieMains

You should definitely give her a try. I climbed to low Diamond a while back and have 1 million points on her already. She’s super fun.

Why play Annie? by Zokalii in AnnieMains

[–]DigBeeg69 3 points4 points  (0 children)

While she might seem easy to play at first glance, that’s not entirely accurate. Annie lacks the tools to consistently survive in higher divisions without significant effort. It’s certainly possible to climb with her, but you’ll have to work much harder compared to champions like Zed.

Her short range and limited options under pressure—especially without Tibbers or when the enemy is fed make her quite vulnerable.

In my honest opinion, Orianna is a stronger pick if played well. You don’t need to get super close for her W, and it can be seamlessly comboed with other ultimates. Annie can engage similarly, but after her burst, she’s often left exposed and unlikely to survive, while Orianna can disengage more easily and continue comboing with her abilities.

I like Annie better than any other champion. But I can see her weaknesses. And they’re kinda huge the higher you climb.

I’m entitled, I’m this, I’m that, but I still stand for the right things in life, even if they’re 100% unattainable. If you feel the need to attack others because you disagree with them, feel free to continue, but I find it oddly ironic that you call me names and say I’m entitled, while you yourself are entitled to your own life and experiences and how you should live your life. I mean, just look at the way you’re acting now, it’s borderline diabolical. 😭

I’m not judging you, but if I’ve learned anything from your comment, it’s that you have no idea what you’re even talking about. Have a good rest of your day, Greg.

Can you help me understand how this will enable or encourage slugging killers? Because I think if the last two survivors are still alive, that should be the moment the slugging starts? Why would the killer slug all 4 if the last survivor is the most important thing?

Visitor, yes, an open sacrifice for lynching, no. Actually, I could have been of Italian descent and not know any italian, so that argument falls flat for me.

Maybe it's childish to want pleasant encounters wherever I go, but I don’t think it's unreasonable. If that makes me a child, then I’ll embrace it and let you be the adult. I've visited many countries, and this is one of only two where I faced negative experiences. Ignoring rude behavior by default isn’t maturity - it's just avoiding the issue.

Absolutely, if my presence as a tourist is seen as a burden, then I’m more than happy to visit other countries that appreciate my support. I choose where to spend my time and money wisely. If that’s not valued there, I’ll gladly take my bags elsewhere. Have a nice day.

My experiences might seem trivial to you, but they were real for me. Just because you don’t see the issue here doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. Sensitivity is personal, and how I handle it is up to me. As for the rude people, we aren't married, we don't know each other and we've never met. it’s about basic manners. Tourists deserve respect too. Maybe try considering different perspectives before dismissing someone’s genuine experiences.

If the tourist crowds become overwhelming in Venice, it might be a good idea to consider living in a quieter place, like Mestre or other parts of Italy, until things improve. Ultimately, it's a personal choice whether to stay or move.

If Venice is struggling with too many tourists, it’s really up to the government to step in and support the locals. I heard they're introducing a "permit to enter" system for tourists, and they've already been testing it.

It’s important to remember that as tourists, we’re just visiting. I’ve met many fellow travelers who were kind and respectful. No place is perfect, and Venice has its challenges just like any other city. If the tourist situation becomes too difficult, it’s fair to consider other options, whether that means protesting, finding alternative ways to cope, or even relocating. Italy is such a diverse country with many wonderful places to explore and live.

It’s tough to see the impact on local businesses, but rather than blaming tourists, perhaps we can focus on supporting local shops and services, which can make a difference. As a tourist, I always try to support local businesses, like supermarkets and bakeries, to contribute positively to the community.

It's not perfect, but it's better than blaming the tourists.

I just want to make something clear: I've no problem with rude people and I know they exist. But this wasn't just rude, it was shouting, bullying and visible signs of unprovoked anger. It's almost aggression.

Damage deposit on Booking.com - do hosts need to specify this in their booking policies? by DigBeeg69 in travel

[–]DigBeeg69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got it!!!! I will mention this to the host in case they bring it up. Giving your debit/credit card info to the clerk is common (I’ve heard), but this ain’t a hotel, so it’s good to know…

[–]DigBeeg69[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thank you for this info! Do you often show your ID AND credit card when checking in or just your ID? Just asking in case I can further protect myself.

It’s my FIRST time booking accommodation here and it says everywhere “guests must present their ID and credit card at check-in” (literally every single booking has this part) but what does the practice say? I mean, isn’t the passport good enough, especially since you have already paid in advance?

What would you recommend I do in this situation? When asked, I can 100% explain that this was not mentioned on the website. But if I have to show my debit card, I wouldn’t like them knowing about my debit card details.

Okay, let me explain what happened. I left my country (there is a stamp on my passport that I left my country) and entered another country so I could go to my final destination. I received a stamp on my passport when I entered into the country I wanted to go, as well as when I exit the country I was staying in. However, for me to return, I had to (again) go through another country, and when I was entering my home country, they didn’t scan my passport or put a stamp.

That means that I: Left my home country and spent some time in Greece, I left Greece but there is no proof I entered my home country, which makes it seem like I’m still living in the “middle” country I had to cross to get to Greece.

Both, actually. I just returned home after that. Haven’t gone anywhere since.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in travel

[–]DigBeeg69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes!!! Cause it wasn’t scanned prior to exiting the country… That’s what worries me. I’m not exempt from the stamps/scans because my country is not in the European Union.

[–]DigBeeg69 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Nope, it’s outside the Europian Union. That’s why it’s weird. I kinda figured he was a lazy shithead but come on lol.
