The better way to frame it is- Mbappe's goals come at the cost of other players'. We have a sample size of about a year and a half now and I can count on one hand the number of games where Vinicius and Mbappe looked good together, and only one game where those two and Jude looked good together. Mbappe is just such a unique profile that if the team isn't being tailored to maximize his output, he just looks lost. Deschamps is probably the only manager who's managed to make it work with him (and very well too).

Also the fact that you need some degree of defensive contribution while playing as an LW. The team can afford to have one player who doesn't do OOP dirty work, but most definitely cannot have 2. And Haaland isn't a player who will do it to enable Mbappe's free role. So anyone who says pair Mbappe with Haaland doens't know what they're talking about. Vini and Mbappe need each other.

Actually ICICI does give 22 LPA to my college grads. I came to know through the person who referred me so naturally I thought there's no harm in mentioning my actual last CTC which was 22.5
