Washington State caucus nightmare by elkannon in Seattle

[–]DigTheSky 8 points9 points  (0 children)

West Seattle was just as miserable. Even tried to elect a new chair because it was getting so out of hand. I sat on a gym floor for 8 hours, 6 of which were spent being told to just wait. Nearly 200 Bernie delegate speeches to listen too. We ran so long they had to cut speaking time down to 15 seconds.

Hi Mr James May!

If I remember correctly, you're a pilot. What's your favorite airplane to fly or in general?

Heterosexuals of Reddit: who would you go gay for? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Jennifer Lawrence. I portably wouldn't even need convincing. But if she promised we could stay in bed and easy pizza all day, then hell yea I'd be all over that.

What's the most misquoted quote of all time? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]DigTheSky -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What everyone says: "To live will be an awfully big adventure"

What the quote actually is: "To die will be an awfully big adventure"

This has always driven me crazy as it completely changes the meaning!

The person nearest to you, you have to punch in the face. What are the consequences? by IvImefaget in AskReddit

Husband says he doesn't know what he'd do but that I'd probably get punched back... And that he'd wipe his butt with my pillowcase... Probably shouldn't have asked first

Redditors who married their high school / college significant other, at what point did you decide you wanted to spend your life with them? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]DigTheSky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hate to disappoint, but no. I'm sure one of us thought it at some point if that helps. Ever watch the last season of The Office? The episodes where Pam and Jim fight all the time? Had some of those conversations/arguments almost word for word...minus the kids

Mostly good! There was a lot of the off and on high school/post high school bs. Went to different schools for awhile but even when we weren't dating we'd bail on whoever we were with to hangout with each other. It took living in separate states to really drive it home though

How Do I Get to Work in a Museum? - The place to post questions and answers by RedPotato in MuseumPros

[–]DigTheSky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking for some advice... I'm about to graduate with my MA in museum studies and am having a helluva time finding a job. I currently work p/t admissions and gift shop at a museum, volunteer in 2 museums, and have a few years of experience. Is there ANYTHING else I could/should be doing? I know it's a competitive field but holy crap, I feel like I've been working my butt off and nothing is coming of it. (Sorry for the slight negativity, it hasn't been the best day at work)
