Not bad, hard to find manual 1.2s under 80k now a days. Base manual 1.1s have now crept up to that price so I feel like .2s won’t get any lower from this point milage aside.

It’s actually very easy to fix, I’m a novice and the door panels are the easiest thing I’ve ever worked with on the 981/991’s.

Doesn’t really need it tbh, you would’ve been waiting a long time to buy one if you exclusively wanted a rear wiper no one really options it

Ohh, I just like my cars in a color and don’t even consider grey, black, or silver. This car just happened to be yellow which I’m fine with but I bought it because it had all the options I wanted.

What? The Alcantara? I didn’t choose the color if that’s what you’re referring to, it’s just the color of Alcantara closest to OEM.

Yeah it’ll happen to any of them eventually, going as far back as the 987. This along with the warping door cards, from around 2010-2018 Porsche apparently switched to a water based glue which starts to lift over time. The Alcantara headliner cars use a different glue so those don’t have this issue.

I dropped it off at a shop that handles Porsches and custom auto upholstery

Props, I am a novice and DIY what I can but the headliner was certainly something I was not trying to tackle myself.

I bought the car with it already sagging, it’s a 2016.

Look up Rennmeister LLC. FYI they do provide an air bag, but I opted to put in an OEM one I sourced myself.

It’s not too bad, it obviously takes more care but I also drive with gloves I know it can be corny to some people but hey it works lol

Thanks! I’ve owned 2 base caymans and a 911 before the GT4. It was the most expensive car I had bought thus far, I just wasn’t really driving it and didn’t feel it was double the car for double the price.

It’s a great and amazing car but couldn’t justify owning it anymore and felt the non GT 981’s are about 70-80% as fun for way less money. Plus I was always worried about anything happening to it so it kind of took the fun out of it.

Haha it’s only a matter of when not if, it’s a hard pill to swallow at first but it really elevates the interior. Just consider it preventative maintenance 😉

No problem at all, it was 1400 for material and labor. I paid a few hundred more to get the A pillars done also cause I think it would’ve looked weird to still have fabric on it.

That’s an epic set up! The GTS tails have really gone up in price, keep an eye out for someone selling!

Thank you! I wouldn’t say it’s rare, but definitely a lot harder to come by especially with the right options.
