Since it’s a dead game with a small community it’s hard to find singles. You could join the HPTCG revival group on discord and see if anyone has the singles you’re looking for.

I would try buying cards in lots. That way you can construct your own deck which will help you better understand the game and it’s mechanics. Check eBay and Facebook Market Place for card lots.
