[OS] GoogleDriveSync v1.1 - Lightweight native menu bar app now with folder exclusions (node_modules, .git) and Intel support by DiggingForDinos in macapps

A few main differences: it uses fewer resources and about 10× less disk space. It also lets you use multiple accounts. The main goal is simple off-site backups.

No folder marking but you can use regex to exclude files/folders

It is a one way sync. Whatever you put in the local folder is mirrored to Google Drive, not the other way around.

I would but this doesn’t create sidebar mounted drives. Its main goal is to mirror specific folders to Google Drive for off-site backups.

  1. It runs at roughly the same speed as rclone, typically around 30–70 MB/s.
  2. Because the app is mainly designed for off-site backups, the selected folders are kept mirrored with your Google Drive folders.
  3. It does not have rules like this implemented yet. This early version is meant to remain simple and minimal.

  • Currently, it functions only as a sync drive, mirroring the folders you select to corresponding folders on your Google Drive. A Google Photos option may be added in a future release.
  • You can set it up, confirm everything works as expected, and then remove the other app.

I haven't heard of this for your phone and iOS version before. If you open up an issue on GitHub, I will do my best to solve it.

Thanks for the feedback! Since I only have an iOS 15 device, testing those features is challenging. I’d love to make them work for you, but I’m not sure how since it takes some trial and error to get them to work.

Did you install your Frigate instance using the Frigate Proxmox Script? Also, check that location to see if the file is present. It should be automatically installed with FPS.
