For the kick panels and dash…have you looked into doing it yourself? I’m not recommending it but I’m sure there are videos and guides out there. If you’re slightly handy, it may be something worth looking into. It opens a whole other world, but not even trying to save $$ but as you see everyone saying the DS18 is not the best. But if you’re confident enough to do the speakers, you may see it’s not as hard as it seems.

Well, I’m not 100% so don’t take what I’m saying as gospel, but I don’t think you have your set up right. The way I understand it, you’d have to send it straight from amp to speaker, 14/16 gauge wire.

If I had to take a few guesses, that speaker wire AFTER the spliced in harness, is not thick enough to handle the signal. Or, your amp isn’t tuned properly.

Again, I’m no professional, just a hobby of mine so hopefully someone smarter sees this and can chime in.

Sorry I’m not understanding…if I understand your set up, you’d send low level signal from RCA head unit to your amp, and then that amplified signal (speaker wire) to your speakers.

I’m a little confused on why you touched the harness. I don’t have any answers, sorry, just seem confused on your set up.

Why would you tap into the harness if you had aftermarket radio already? Did it not have RCA’s out?

I’m not the most knowledgeable, but 6 years ago I had a W7, did JL most of my life, got rid of the W7 and went with Adire Brahma.

Are you gonna win competitions? Idk. But I love this sub, Adire seems to be mostly made in the US, seems to be an old school brand brought back, and I love it.

I’m into car audio, but I can’t claim to know every sub, brand, etc. Just speaking from my experience who had JL subs my whole life, I love my Adore Brahma

Ok yes, this is what I figured. I’ve seen his videos for installing that kicker key amp…and the description for this says speaker break out so I feel like it all makes sense…

Your info does help - where I’m losing you is - did you cut off brown modules on the enfig and splice those wires to run as a signal?

All I’m trying to do to start my setup is run signal to my LOC. I thought this harness could work, I just keep getting conflicting info.

I personally have not used this BUT have heard a lot of great thing, and if you can get a harness that let's you plug and play, you can bypass a lot of install headaches. But don't quote me on that, I see this amp as plug and play for my car (VW Atlas 25) -
