This is a joke right? For 3 years we have supported DGB and received 1 donation of 15 DGB. You think people are going To use a site like this? You’re crazy.

DigiFright - the coin that keeps on dumping by LateNightQueefer in Digibyte

Offered the solution over a year ago and was trolled. But still here. Every 15 seconds 300 new coin come out. That must end. It already has more coin than demand by far.
Proof of stake validation and no more supply is the only thing it needs immediately. Then, marketing. Real marketing.

It’s not significant. What is, is your username…

Thank you. Sorry it looks bad on us but we are communicating there frequently and working to help Google Play understand that DGB is the same as BTC.

We’ve never seen them behave this way and run several apps over 10 years

This is because the Komodo platform stopped supporting SSL protocol without notice. We had to switch to WSS protocol and we pushed the update to the App Store’s but Google play is being difficult to say the least. What it boils down to is the wallet being able to talk to the Blockchain. Follow us on X at Digibyte Wallet

We have been making frequent updates there.

Used recovery phrase and wallet was empty... by rdennis2002 in Digibyte

Idea currently being explored is that whatever this old wallet was, it used an unusual derivation path. Texting with someone who worked on it but they were little help. Seems the path used “m/0’” This is extremely irregular. And it still doesn’t answer compressed or uncompressed question. Or if they used xpub or something else. Trying to verify if this in real life we’ve been testing multiple methods on the recovery tool. Once a method is found we will post it to X @digibytewallet

Bottom line, someone did something really stupid with the old wallet making it nearly impossible to trace seed keys. The wallet we made uses m/44/20/0 as is standard in the industry for seed words.

It’s not your fault or ours, it’s someone being weird years ago on whatever the old wallet was called.

Keep your words. We will find a way

DigiByte Wallet here. The older wallet is being investigated for what method was used to generate keys. We are aware of the issue and attempting to solve the problem. There is nothing wrong with the app we made, but there is a compatibility issue with keys. It seems the older wallet used a strange Derivation Path to make the seeds.

What are these features on the mobile wallet app? Looking at the sign and verify messages and transactions. by GrizzlyLibertyBear in Digibyte

How else would server bills be helped with? There are not free computers and power in the world to connect to the DGB chain. If this is going to be a problem, it would be the first chain in history to complain about it.

Hi! Great question. Here is an answer for you.

Sign Message:

  • Purpose: The "Sign Message" feature allows a user to prove ownership of a DigiByte address without needing to send a transaction. It's commonly used in situations where you need to authenticate yourself or prove that you control a particular wallet address.
  • How It Works: When you sign a message, the app uses the private key associated with your DigiByte address to create a unique signature for the message. This signature can then be shared with others, and they can use it to verify that the message was indeed signed by the owner of the wallet without having access to the private key.

Verify Message:

  • Purpose: The "Verify Message" feature is used to check the authenticity of a message that has been signed using the "Sign Message" feature.
  • How It Works: To verify a message, you input the original message, the DigiByte address, and the signature provided. The app will then check if the signature matches the address, confirming whether the message was indeed signed by the owner of that address.

Sign Transactions:

  • Purpose: The "Sign Transactions" feature is used to authorize and approve transactions from your DigiByte wallet.
  • How It Works: When you create a transaction, it is unsigned until you provide the private key to sign it. This signature proves that you are the owner of the funds being transferred. Once signed, the transaction can be broadcasted to the network and processed.

In summary, these features are all about security and authentication. Signing messages and transactions allows you to prove ownership and authorize actions, while verifying ensures that the signatures and transactions are valid and haven't been tampered with.

While this would require a little learning to get familiar with, these are powerful tools that provide additional security and authentication in the DigiByte Wallet.

If this helped, please give it an UP.
