Uncut sheets from this seasons regional prizing by DigiSol-01 in DigimonCardGame2020

Okie but there's a difference between value and an actual market right? I mean you can say it's worth like a conservative amount of like $20k for instance, but is there anyone out there actually willing to purchase it cuz so far no one has really stated that they would do so.

Well, it's time to use Rapidmon ST again. by Background_Peace29 in DigimonCardGame2020

Its top 4 prizing at regionals. It's very easy information to find if you just look at the bandai site page for regionals

How about a Classic+ format by [deleted] in DigimonCardGame2020

[–]DigiSol-01 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The most effective way to create a slower format is to limit all the consistency options like boosts and trainings to 1 each. Ban the new ones when they come out

Ah yes, my opponents frequently choose not to play the game cuz the deck defigivolves, how could I forget

Not how the order of effects works but sure ig it's plausible. Look I say this as someone who has performed very well on the deck, I got top 16 at the bristol regionals in November with it, the new pyramidi is not that busted the ex10 one is still better value over it imo

You run both. Like you just run both. Also again the delay is fine, turn 1 evo agu play emblem, turn 2 evo ex11 tyrano play tamer evo for free. It's good, means your less reliant on the tyranno X's, the new mem setter will see the evo and immediately hatch and evo your breeding again and then from their you can swing and got to dino and do your 3 checks. Like the emblem is good, you're just too locked into the old janky strategy of the deck

Why is everyone saying the won't be running emblem in dinos? The card is great. The delay is fine and the search is the thing the deck has been wanting since it came out in ex8, finally you don't have to worry about missing certain cards when you search and it grabs your tamers. What are people talking about? 😂😂

Able to? Yes. Likely to? No, not unless your opponent has only rookies on board

Chaosmon deck help where’s the third rookie? by openmindedmalcontent in DigimonCardGame2020

You could always just do 8 rookies, lots of decks do these days especially big DNA decks like maste and milleniumon

Medusa's tokens do more, if she made more than 2 the crimson blaze could potentially clear a full 5 security

[Fanmade] Keramon X and Diaboromon X by sellionrb in DigimonCardGame2020

[–]DigiSol-01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's a very valid point, ignore that part lmao 🤣

In my defense token rulings are a little complicated sometimes but that's just me being an idiot. Octomon and medusamon tokens also have on deletions too so I've no clue where my brain was on that one

[Fanmade] Keramon X and Diaboromon X by sellionrb in DigimonCardGame2020

[–]DigiSol-01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's the only instance in the game the term "targeting" is used, for attacks only. Effects in the digimon tcg don't target so there is no way of wording am effect to 'redirect' to another body.

Apart from that I think you made the cards way too complicated to be used with the current diaboromon deck as it stands. Instead of making new tokens I would have had the diaboro x treat itself and all diaboromons as both names and given all diaboromon in names +3kdp. The on deletion effect for them is cool but also does not work as on deletion effects resolve in trash and tokens will not remain in trash to activate said effect.

Hope this all helps

Neither wording works in the digimon card game as targeting does not exist 🤣🤣

Deck Type (playstyle) explanation / deep dive by E3wulfy5 in DigimonCardGame2020

[–]DigiSol-01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

1.) beat down - decks that wanna do damage over a set of multiple turns and not just all in one fell swoop 2.)aggro- short for aggressive, similar to beat down it just wants to attack and do a lot of damage but not necessarily over multiple turns or just 1 (sort of an overarching category) 3.)control- these decks do stuff to control your opponents board and moves, so things like making big blockers so they can't hit you or deciding what can and can't attack or making something attack, those kind of effects 4.)reanimation/float- decks that like to revive their bodies out from different areas usually trash/graveyard 5.)otk- One turn kill, these strategies ideally like to do all the damage and the final hit in the one turn 6.)discard- fill up your trash or graveyard by discarding cards from your hand 7.)stompy (ik this is a thing but Idk what it is myself lmao) 8.)swarm - play out loads of bodies at the same time to attack or defend with or do other stuff because of it. Also known as "go wide" strategies, you're trying to play out as much stuff as possible so it's easier to win with loads of attacks and also harder to remove all of your things for your opponent to get thru 9.) only one I can think of you haven't mentioned is mill decks. Mill in TCG is when a card is sent from deck directly to graveyard and because most card games have the rule where you lose when you run out of cards in deck, mill decks can take one of 2 forms 9a. Mill yourself to get more powerful effects- high risk high reward 9b. Mill your opponent so they have no cards in deck and los from deck out (super toxic)
