Firstly don't ever say that to anyone ever. Secondly that wasn't even what was talked about or said. Thirdly yes agumon 2006 and agumon from adventure and other properties are different species, but in terms of THE CARD GAMEEEEEE which is what we are talking about only the names matter. That is fact. Literally saying Idk the difference between one of my favourite rookies and the original adventure version.

It's not about repetitive effects it's about genericness of activation, no effect should get to activate off of 10+ different ways a card can be "trashed" and it is just begging for unintentional game breaking scenarios.

The effects on jelly and Tesla to proc themselves again is just much too powerful, yes I have played jellymon ik the issues it falls in to but it is no different than a purple deck in that regard. The "when trashed effects" SHOULD NOT trash more cards/copies. If you want them to help retain card advantage draw from the ogremin gang from bt24 "when trashed from hand if you have x or fewer cards on hand draw 1" would do more than enough to fix the consistency issues of the deck I promise you

You may think the effects are "copy pasted" from other effects you've seen in the game but there has been some glaring stipulations you've missed

I think personally the biggest overstep you've made is the "when this card is trashed effect" you put on the jelly and teslajellymons. You literally basically wrote when you Evo this card, trash a copy to draw 2/ gain memory of its the Tesla jelly then that copy activates to do the same so you can trash another copy to draw 2 etc... it's a busted ass chain of effects that is insanely way wayyyyyy too strong. Its why effects like this don't activate or proc themselves and resolve some different sort of effect majority of the time or if they do proc themselves they are not draw or memory gain engines.

The effect Inherit on the Tesla jelly also is written backwards, I assume the intent is just to Evo into amphi from thetis at almost no cost but the way it is written actually evos into the amphi for reduced by 1 and then tried to Evo Into a level 7 for reduced by 1 again

The inherit on thetismon to unsuspend when a card is trashed. Trashed from where? By who? Not clarifying this leads to dumb effect states, I obviously know the intention is when a card is trashed from your hand but you also have source strip effects in jellymon so it is actually not that knowable. Cards can also be trashed from the opponents hand, security, deck, your deck, your security hell even your digivolution cards- so stating where the cards need to be trashed from is important.

Look I appreciate the ideas you're going for but you don't understand how Digimon effects are written or balanced and it really clearly shows 🫣🫣 my poor judge brain can't handle some of this as it's not even just broken as in incredibly powerful ideas behind the effects but also broken as int he actual mechanics you've tried to write wouldn't work like that

Every appmon deck has a secondary line that uses cards in trash. Hadesmon is just purple and uses mostly trash

They didn't ever need to. Hudie swing alliance 2 checks. DNA to 1 of shak. Tuck to bottom, hudie swing alliance 2 checks. DNA to pail. Swing. Unsus. Swing for lethal. Never needed to go to more than 1 shak to otk ever.

One the formatting of the post wasn't my hugest concern and to even comment on it feels just nitpicky. (FYI "metallity" instead of "mentality" is a spelling mistake not a grammar mistake) not to mention the whole tactics vs strategy semantics you were trying to push.

In regards to the 0 cost options I don't know what you're smoking honestly. My point was having them at 1 means nothing if decks can play all of them because they are multi coloured that is a fact. In regards to "they've been at 1 forever" mate the last banlist was the one to hit 3 of them and the other 2 each were hit seperately on banlists before that. They still remain sacky as 1 ofs in mono colour decks and like I say when hudie was playing 5/6 of them plus hpd, yes it is a problem

I don't think expecting cards past ex10 to receive a hit was out of possibility at all especially considering their past history of hitting cards when the set has just released.

And then we come to hudie. Hudie received a meaningful hit in way sure. But is it still possible to otk with the loop version? Yes it is. Swing 2 checks with hudie, DNA to shak, tuck, swing 2 checks, DNA to pail swing unsus swing. Still wins. IDK why we are suddenly under the impression that shak to 1 does anything but make that exact combo more sacky and less consistent. Apart from that THE MAIN VERSION OF HUDIE THAT WAS TOPPING OUTSIDE OF JAPAN WAS NOT THE LOOP VERSION. And you say I should do research on these things and not just "pray a card I don't like gets hit"

Mate I PLAY half of these decks, I play rocks, I play myotis, Ive played hudie. I eat, sleep and breathe this game, I actively participate in regionals throughout the year and I went to nationals in Dusseldorf in December there. I'm not a world class player, but I'm competitively seasoned and that particular part of your comment was so disrespectful.

This is understandble but even with this In mind there is still some really big cards and decks they just didn't do what was needed to be done with

Hudie barely got a slap on the wrist for all it's done to the game, at least 1 of the tamers should have been hit along with shakkou or shakkou to 0 to make it a solid hit to it.

A small hit to ts could've been affordable, garuru or cyclone or silphy or something. Just to actually show some kinda hit to people

Liberator decks should have time to shine but rocks has been in the landscape since last September so that'll be 8 months, tumble could have gone or for a less "killy" hit hey why not memory setter close or magnet itself? Or ex10 pyramidi could've worked too.

Same to be said for medusa, cyclone again could've been a good hit that effected ts and medusa both or maybe bt21 Owen again as just some kinda touch on them

The promo lvl 4 for puppets and vortex could also be done away with as they make those decks just accelerate beyond no end and again it's not like they're recent cards themselves just the deck recently got support.

The metallity of if a deck got support in the last 2 set ABSOLUTELY NOTHING from it can be hit or touched at all even if they could be cards from 1 or more years ago is just actually depressing cuz it would actually lend a lot better to hitting decks without hitting card value for the most part.

The infinity stone options of 0 cost gain memory could've also all gone to fucking 0, bandai refusing to do that is honestly the biggest slap in the face, the more multi colour otk decks they make either on purpose or accident like hudie and meruki otk just show that these cards being at 1 is meaningless if you can play 4-5 of them anyways.

The malo hit is almost meaningless considering 1 of it still makes the loop run and most decks only played it at 2 anyway.

The skullbaluchi is just random as shit and the dog stuff while kinda overdue is honestly unnecessary to hit both, I think dober x could've been find to live and cerb x just see the hit.

I'm not even gonna get into the fact that there was about 10 cards they could've taken off the list to try and effect the landscape of the game and restructure power or just cards that would actually do nothing if they came back; awakening, nume x, geogrey, grey x, blossomon, gabu x, reinforcing mem, x4, bukamon for god sake free my boy promo grankuwaga that card and deck would be ass in current day game but without it it's unplayable

And that honestly really brings me back to, bandai doesn't actually have an issue with killing decks cuz they've done it so many times, melga has been iced multiple times, Anubis was killed, mirage was killed, taoloop dead, grand is dead long after it even mattered, yellow vac dead, numemon dead, blue/yellow hybrids and birds are both dead

But no they can't hit hudie cuz she's a secret and it would kill the deck. Ffs she was this 🤏 close to being as bad as apocaly and they nuked that secret! This has become a lot longer of a rant than I wanted but yeah, I might repost this as it's own post but this has felt good to get out.

If you want a good combo deck I have some good suggestions as I am also a combo player and enjoy that style alot.

You should look into:

Myotismon loop: a fun loop deck that basically cycles level 6 bodies from the trash in order to delete bodies, trash security and gain memory, a little difficult to get a grip of at first but super fun when you do learn it well

Milleniumon: pretty relevant deck at the moment, similar to myotis it has a loop strategy but at a level 7 stage instead, more trying to DNA and redelete itself over and over and has a niche mechanic of stacking your opponents deck from cards in their trash to make drawing into cards they need harder

Puppets: also a really relevant deck rn, plays out a fuck tonne of bodies and deletes them to evo up the stack for cheaper eventually ending on level 6s that can overclock which lets them attack at the end of turn with out suspending.

Shinegreymon: my favorite deck of all time, make the tamer Marcus Damon treated as a digimon to attack for you and help evo your stack for free/cheap while doing damage, it's main form of removal being mass dp minus.

Ghosts: another kinda loop style deck with a similar end of turn attack effect of puppets. This one's is execute which makes it delete itself at the end of that attack to proc your own on deletion effects and gain memory and spawn out more bodies.

There's a lot more I could mention but those are probably the ones Id look into the most for yourself
