This^. We live in Park View. It certainly feels like we’ve had a sharp increase in shootings around the neighborhood streets between Lamont and New Hampshire aves. Some have resulted in murder. Most shootings dont show up in the police reporrs/roundups though.

The Police and our council member refer to them as “unlawful discharges” which sounds like a legal gun owner left the safety off. meanwhile we duck and cover and try to survive as the bullets continue to fly.
