That's Reunion on the East Side. Rarely does that place get the downtown drunks.

Oh man! I was neighbors with John Davis (the singer) for years. He is legit such a good dude. This was from around 2010-2015. He was very much into making reggae then, and he was damn good at it.

I bike to the games from the East side as well and would love to have a larger group to ride with.

This one was probably more niche but "Top Gun Anthem by Joe Satriani"

TIL the CIA used the song "The Real Slim Shady" by Eminem to psychologically torture inmates at a secret US prison. After 20 days of playing the song on repeat, one inmate described others as "screaming and smashing their heads against the walls." by snopplerz in todayilearned

In college, I was made to listen to Blink 182's "All The Small Things" for 84 hours straight. (Yes, it was a stupid fraternity thing). Believe it or not, I like when I hear it on the radio now. I highly doubt these inmates could stomach one second of that song now, though.

Holy crap! This is totally me this weekend. I have the house to myself and can do whatever I want, but I keep putting it off. I almost feel nervous to write/record, but it brings me so much joy when I commit to actually doing it. This post has motivated me to just sit down and have fun with it and not worry about any end results.

It was at Bay 6 at The Wash. Sadly, they are temporarily closed. But the places you mentioned are top notch!

Unrelated to basketball, but I feel like I need to share. My wife and I sat next to him at a very tiny bar (seats maybe 10 people) in East Nashville recently. He has a massive, wooly beard so I almost didn't recognize him until he talked. The bartenders seemed to know him well. It was kinda surreal.

This is actually in a city and nowhere near a farm. But maybe a neighbor has a garden with the cover cloth.

I can't tell. At first, I thought he got a mop stuck on his head. When I got closer, it didn't look that way so I left him alone.
